09-07-2005 - P29 OpenAir Event, Zwickau (Germany)
There was another open air event on 9th July 2005 - this time in Zwickau (former East Germany). The happening, which was called “P29” - was placed in a swimming & water park. Especially for the invited artists there was built up a stage.
Also Petrus seems to be a fan of good music. Although the days before was cold and rainy, on this day over 2000 people could make a great party on a nice weather day. Between the acts different DJ’s invited the people to shake a leg. But when the artists came on stage, they reassembled in front of it to spent enthusiastic applause.
After Geier Sturzflug (a german band) and Ute Freudenberg (german singer) performed their songs, Limahl entered the stage a few minutes after 11 pm. This time he was accompanied by four dancers (Mandy, Nina, Dion and Burak), who supported him with a wonderful choreography.

In a fantastic performance the audiance could hear Limahl’s well known hits Neverending Story, Too Shy or Love is blind, but also cover songs like e.g. tainted love. But Limahl had a great suprise for his fans as well: he presented the new song Still in Love. You can hear a demo on his official site.
Of course his fans didn’t let him go without spending an encore.
After this he signed some autographs and let take some photos with his fans.
Once again many fans used this great opportunity to meet again each other and spent a wonderful weekend in zwickau. Here you can see some of them:
