VH-1 Bands Reunited

On the english television there is a show called VH-1. One theme of the show is the consolidation of bands, which has broken up, for one appearance on one evening. The title of this show is VH-1 Bands united.
In 2003 the wrights of the show gave themselves a very difficult job: to get Kajagoogoo together back on stage for one evening . The moderator of the show was Aamer Haleem

In only seven days the team of VH-1 should convince all the members of Kajagoogoo from the idea of this inimitable event.
By and by Aamer Haleem and his Team frequented the ex-members of the band to get Kajaggogoo back on stage for one evening .
At first they visted Nick Beggs. He was very suprised of the idea, but he signed the deal. He talked about the old time with Kajagoogoo and about the break with Limahl
Then Steve Askew (guitar) and Stuart Neale (keyboards) follwed. Both of them was convinced of this idea.
The drummer Jez Strode was tricked a little bit. He was ordered to supply the Equipment for a concert (his job today), unsuspecting that this should be his own concert. He was very astounded, when he found out the real reason. But he also agreeded.
At last Limahl had to be convinced. He also was called under a wrong reason to the venue. He thought that ho only should give an interview about his solo carreer
He talked about how he came to Kajagoogoo and how Nick Rhodes from Duran Duran was responsible for the number one hit “too Shy”.
But he also reported about his quitting from Kajagoogoo and how bitter it was for him (“like a knife in my heart”). He said that he still knows the words they said when they fired him..About his relationship to the other members of the bands he said that it’s still strained.
When Limahl came to know the real reason for this interview he was visibly astounded and suprised. but after only a short indecision he said yes. (“Life is too short”)
So the first hurdle was managed for a common appearance of Kajagoogoo after almost 20 years.
Then the first probe of the members of the band was there. Everybody was nervous and
curious about the first meeting.
The first four members met and were happy to meet again. The big advisement of these four was: Did Limahl also agree with these deal? 
He came at last and was visibly nervous. By and by everyone of them acclaimed each other and remebered of the old days.
At the probe of course they all had to find together, because some of the members hadn’t played an instrument or stood on stage for a very long time.
Then the great evening was there - the 26th october 2003. This great appearance took place in the scala of London. There were very much visitors there. Also after 20 years the fans were looking forward to see Kajagoogoo live on stage again.
Of course they performed one of their biggest hits “too shy”. All the members of the band and the audiance visibly took much pleasure in this great event.
During the interpretation of “Hang on now” Limahl had tears in his eyes. And Nick Beggs said, that you had to hug him in this moment. It really was a very emotional moment
All the people who had the luck to witness this unique event.can be very count themselves lucky.
