On 02-04-2005 started a new englsih television show called “Hit me baby one more time” on the british broadcast . In 7 episodes at large 35 artists of the eighties face up to the viewers, which will decide by telephone voting, which artist will go in the final show on 21th of may. Moderator of the show is Vernon Kay

Limahl was part  of the show in the first episode on april the 2nd. 5 artists performed  one of their greatest hits first and in a second appearance one song from the up to date charts.

The line up of this show was beside Limahl Gloria Gayner with “I will survive” and “Beautiful” from Christina Aguilera, Howard Jones with “What is Love” and “White Flag” from Dido, The Honeyz with “”Finally Found” and “How you remind me” from Nickelback as well as Tiffany with “I think we’re alone now” and “Love machine” from Girls Aloud.

Limahl presented his great hit “too shy” as well as a wonderful performance of “this love” from Maroon 5. He didn’t won, it was Tiffany - but as he wrote on his homepage he was very happy with his performance. I think his fans totally agree with him.
