Limahl was part of a well known german Television show, called Hit-Giganten (Gigantic Hit). Theme of this episode was Pop and Wave of the eighties. Hugo Egon Balder, the moderator of the show, and his german prominent guests (comedian Dirk Bach, actor Georg Uecker and Fahri Ogün Yardim, moderator Caroline Beil and singer Sabrina Setlur) presented the 30 greatest hits of the eighties. Partly in videoclips ((Nik Kershaw, Yazoo, Spandau Ballet, ABC, Eurythmics, Duran Duran and some more), but also on stage you could see some of the eighties artists again. There were Marc Almond, who presented live his hit "Tainted Love" "Living In A Box" sang “Living in a box”, Gazebo with "I Like Chopin", Lisa Stansfield with "Around The World" and her new song "Treat Me Like A Women”, Visage with "Fade To Grey”, Banarama with “Robert de Niro’s Waiting” and Max Werner with “rain in may”
Of course also Limahl must be part of the greatest hits of the eighties. He performed live his hit “too shy” und after this he joined Hugo Egon Balder and his guests on the couch for a short time, and answered once more the question for the source of the name kajagoogoo.
The recording of the show took place in Berlin on 5th march 2005. The broadcast was on 3th april 2005 08:15 pm (german time) on the german channel SAT1
