Who among the german mid-thirties don’t remember the musicshow of the eighties – Formula 1.? At that time as we were teenager this show was the absolutely duty to watch.
The broadcast station named Kabel 1 reminded of this cult show of the eighties. The moderator of this revival was Thomas Anders – assisted by the previous original moderators It was shown videoclips of the good old eighties and philosophised about the former times.
At the end of this first season there was a big show, where some of our eighties stars appeared on stage again. For example Paul Young, Peter Schilling, Ann Clark, the Scorpions and some more.
And of course Limahl must’nt miss. – the eighties icon plainly.
The show was recorded on 21/04/2004 in the Bavariastudios in Unterföhring (Munich). The transmission took place at 19/05/2004 on Kabel1.
Limahl perfomed one of his biggest hits „too shy“.
Of course there were some of the Limahl-Fans at the rerecording.
Regrettably I only had the possibility to watch the show on tv. But also in this case you could see the fun he had on stage. To mention is also that he had performed live of course.
