14-05-2005 18th Radio Nora Oldie Night, Bad Segeberg (Germany)

On 14th of may the “18th Radio Oldie night” took place in the “Kalkberg-Arena” in Bad Segeberg (Germany).
Stars from former time like Chris Andrews, The Tremeloes, the Hollies, The Sweet, and Dave Ashby appeared on the stage at this outdoor event. The wheather was very changeable  - warm and sunny at the beginning as well as  rainy and cold in the end.

Robbie and the Williams a Robie Williams Cover Band presented also their ability.

On this Oldie Night two stars were invited from the not so early time like the other ones. It were Paul Young and Limahl.

In front of maybe 11 000 viewers Limahl perfomed his hits “too shy” and “Neverending Story” as well as a few cover songs like. Thinking of you from Sister Sledge or True from Spandau Ballet.
He closed the Oldie-show with his appearance which last maybe 30 minutes. Regrettably Limahl was unlucky that the promotor has to end the show exactly on 11:00 pm, otherwise he would have to pay penalty.
Because of some organisational difficulties Limahl started his show a little bit later as it was planned. So he had to shorten his appearance. But this had no influence on the quality - this was great like ever.

a very short fanreport:
Of Course some of the fans were their to spend their time together again for a few days and to support Limahl at his appearance.
Of course it was wonderful again. The wheather at that day was great at the beginning but very rainy and cold in the end. But we enjoyed every minute of the day and of Limahl’s performance, as well as our stay at our very nice “northern lights” ;-). All the Best from Steffi
